I miss your smile, your gentle face, And all the things you did with grace.
I miss the love from your kind heart, And all the joys you did impart.
Each day I fold my hands in prayer; And hope that you are happy there.
Where all is peaceful and serene, And where you reign a heavenly queen.

You may laugh if you would like but I originally found this beautiful little poem in the "Dear Meg" column in the Star Magazine, May 12, 1998, page 30. I may not always believe everything I read in the magazine at times but I always enjoy reading it.
After reading the poem, I wanted to make sure that I shared it with everyone just in time for Mother's Day. I lost my mother on September 24, 1984, when she was only 49 years young and I still miss her today. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her during some part of my day and wish that she was still around here today just to see her grandchildren because I know that she would be very proud of them and their accomplishments.
Mom...... This is just for you.......
